RIDE 6 uses a motorcycle racing control layout built around smooth throttle control, careful braking, rider weight, and accurate corner entry. The basic controls are easy to understand, but the game rewards players who learn how to balance front brake, rear brake, steering, racing line, assists, and manual riding techniques.

Additional Notes
RIDE 6 includes riding assists and difficulty options that can change how demanding the controls feel. Players can adjust braking assists, joint brakes, traction control, anti-wheelie, transmission, ideal trajectory, and other riding aids depending on whether they want a more arcade-style or simulation-style experience.
- R2 / RT controls throttle, and smooth acceleration is important when exiting corners.
- L2 / LT is the main front brake and should usually be applied before leaning heavily into a corner.
- Rear brake is useful for small speed corrections and tightening your line, but holding it too long can unsettle the bike.
- Left Stick controls steering and rider movement, so bike turning requires earlier inputs than most car racing games.
- Manual transmission gives more control, but automatic transmission is easier for beginners.
- Rewind is useful for practicing corners and learning braking points without restarting the whole race.
- Controls can be adjusted in the settings menu, so check your in-game bindings if your layout is different.
