Control Schemes

Expeditions includes multiple controller schemes, including Scheme A, Scheme B and Scheme C. Scheme A is the main default layout. Players coming from SnowRunner may prefer testing the other schemes, especially if they are used to different bumper and utility placements.

  • Scheme A is the default layout shown in the table above.
  • Scheme B and Scheme C change the driving and utility layout for alternate preferences.
  • Controller settings also allow adjustments such as sensitivity, vibration and camera behavior.

Driving Notes

Expeditions is slower and more technical than a regular driving game. Use throttle gently, manage AWD and differential lock only when needed, and avoid fighting the terrain at full speed. Quick Winch is one of the most important recovery tools, while Tire Inflation helps you adapt to mud, rock, sand and steep climbs.
